So. The Pi Phi rush clothing letter was leaked somehow via fashionista (if the blogger was an ex Pi-Phi or alumnus I’m sure her chapter loves her for ruining their rush secrets) but for most of us (because most of my readers are ADPi circa Fall 05+) these letters come standard. Most of the comments that followed read something like ‘how is this even real’ and ‘this girl’s a complete bitch’ and while this letter is on the extreme side and clearly demonstrates a waste of tuition money at Cornell the idea that presentation is important prevails. I take no shit for being a sorority girl and have been called everything from Elle Woods to grad school Barbie —- but when I go to an interview or a networking event and I’m dressed to a T (thanks to specific rush clothing letters like these) I’m not only remembered, I’m impressive.
So sorority haters beware. As cult-ish and cliche as we seem we’re onto something brilliant here and if it ain’t broken…
